Chef Jason Hector is a Northwest Arkansas native. After serving as a sous chef at establishments in Northwest Arkansas, he moved to St. Louis in 2006 to work in fine dining establishments that encouraged creativity and innovation when it came to cooking techniques and flavor combinations. It was in St. Louis that Chef refined and perfected his cooking methods and techniques.

During his 9 years in St. Louis, he served as the Executive Sous Chef at Herbie’s Vintage 72, the Corporate Chef for Steven Becker Fine Dining, and the Corporate Executive Chef for Jim Edmonds’ The Precinct and Space 41. He returned to Northwest Arkansas in 2015, excited to serve the people living in and visiting the area. He looks forward to serving you at the Crackerjack food truck where he is able to offer you creative dining choices that don’t break the pocketbook.
